What I love about ECD is the intimate nature of events and the focus on building real relationships. I continue to hear from Ambassadors that ECD events allow them to get to know each other, as well as to know business and government partners. Whether it is a meeting with the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, a diplomatic discussion on implications of the war in Ukraine, or discussing the intersection of diplomacy, trade and security, our Ambassadorial partners tell us that ECD provides a level of support, insight, and networking that goes a step beyond the expected.

The event on the 27th of March was fantastic! Very important topic and a conversation that needs to be continued.

The ECD is unique in bringing together the diplomatic corps in Washington with American government officials and business executives to provide opportunities for shared dialogue.

Most of all, what I remember are the friends I made, the really interesting substantive discussions I've had, and the value I’ve seen in the discussion between business leaders and diplomatic leaders in Washington. Too often these are separate worlds and I think the ECD has done a good job of bringing these two worlds together.

The thing I appreciate the most about ECD is the opportunity for foreign diplomats to meet Americans and American experts, and to learn about American politics, culture, and economy, and also to learn a bit more about the American people.
