The annual AAB Board Meeting took place, where we had an engaging discussion with Congressman Mike Turner about global security trends, reflected on the past year, and discussed 2026 ECD programming. 
November 2025
A fireside chat with Heather Conley from the American Enterprise Institute and Philip Luck from the Center for Strategic & International Studies discussing the evolution of U.S. foreign and trade policy under the second Trump Administration.
September 2025
The ECD hosted its annual event at Nationals Park, where members of the AAB had the opportunity to attend a baseball game and learn about its significance in American culture. 
July 2025
At a summer luncheon, the ECD bid farewell to our outgoing AAB Chair, Ambassador Radovan Javorčík, and welcomed our new AAB Co-Chairs, Ambassador of Tanzania Dr. Elsie S. Kanza and Ambassador of Slovenia Iztok Mirošič.

The ECD learned about the Trump Administration’s economic policy approach during a discussion with Dr. Pierre Yared, Vice Chair of the Council of Economic Advisors in the Executive Office of the President.

The ECD had a fireside chat with Retired U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer who spoke about his experience serving on the U.S. Supreme Court, his approach to interpreting and upholding the law, as well as his new book, Reading the Constitution: Why I Chose Pragmatism, Not Textualism.
